We are working on the migration now. The way this will work is as follows:
Currently, the Wayback Machine Downloader is grabbing a rendered HTML copy of each page and saving it on the server. A conversion script is converting it into the exact style of Markdown expected by MediaWiki, and then importing that page.
CURRENT STATUS: DOWNLOADING - 33% COMPLETE
